The news team focuses on bringing VSF club updates, current world investment trends, trends in industries where VSF has stock, news summaries of VSF investments, and outside company stories about sustainability to the public in a newsletter. The news team divides into two groups: researchers and editors. The news team researchers gather information using global newspapers, VSF meeting notes, and interviews. The news team editors edit the stories for finalization. After all stories and club information are compiled, the weekly newsletter is uploaded to the VSF website and the Linkedin page. The news team meets every week to go over possible stories and to assign tasks. The news team welcomes all majors who are interested in writing and/or editing and learning about the sustainability of companies.
