Investment Team
The investment team focuses on finding companies whose stocks are likely to increase in value in the future.
The investment team reads through company filings and financial data available on sites like S&P CapitalIQ, Fin Box, OTC Markets, and Yahoo Finance.
The investment team then uses this data to create complex regressions, financial models, and valuations that will be presented in the stock pitch. As of current, the investment team is split into three subcategories: technology, retail, and healthcare/biotech.
These groups meet every week, but come together as a whole with the research team bi-weekly. The team welcomes students from all majors that are interested in pursuing finance, but looks highly upon those who have experience in the field.
